Jac Ifan Moore is a director working across theatre, television, and opera.

His work spans large-scale adaptations, new writing, and politically engaged storytelling, with a bold visual style.

He has directed over 30 episodes of continuing drama for BBC Cymru Wales/S4C, and stage productions for National Theatre Wales, Theatr Genedlaethol, Sherman Theatre, Theatre 503, and Music Theatre Wales, where he recently directed and co-wrote his first opera (Unclean Beasts). His productions have played on main stages, toured nationally, and appeared at the Edinburgh Festival.

Jac is co-founder of PowderHouse, the Company in Residence at the Sherman Theatre, and an alumnus of the National Theatre Studio Directors Course and Royal Opera House Directing for Opera Programme.

Current projects include The Mission, a political comedy in development as a TV series; a bilingual short film Croeso!; David Copperfield (adapted by Simon Reade) at RWCMD; and a main stage new play for Theatr Clwyd.

Based in Wales and working nationally, Jac is committed to making work that is bold, emotionally direct, and reaches the widest possible audience.
